The port of Hamburg in the development of the Clean Cargo Connect project

The "Clean Cargo Connect" project aims to expand hydrogen infrastructure and deployment of hydrogen trucks in the Port of Hamburg. This includes adding five hydrogen filling stations, two mobile refuelling solutions, establishing a new electrolysis facility, and introducing at least 30 additional hydrogen trucks on the road.
The initiatives within the "Clean Cargo Connect" project will convert freight traffic on the roads in the hinterland of the Port of Hamburg to hydrogen. Besides, this project will promote the transition of freight transportation to environmentally sustainable fuel cell propulsion systems throughout Hamburg.
